A single day is the normal minimum, and in some cases just a few hours — a one-morning tribunal, an evening function, a single fixture.
Same-day sometimes possible
It depends on the equipment and what is already out. We will tell you honestly what we can reach you with rather than promise and miss.
Operators if you need them
Trained operators supplied with the kit, or we set it up and brief your own team. Plenty of London clients run their own lanes.
24/7 technical cover runs for the duration of covered hires. Where a fault cannot be fixed in place, a replacement comes off a fleet of more than 300 owned systems.

How quickly can you get screening equipment into central London?
London and the South East are our shortest run — the hire fleet lives in a warehouse in Hampshire, inside the M3 corridor.
Same-day delivery is sometimes possible, depending on the equipment and what is already committed elsewhere, and we have installed and commissioned a checkpoint in a central London lobby within an hour of the van arriving. Most hires are still planned days or weeks ahead, which gives a better checkpoint.
Will an X-ray machine fit through a London office door?
Usually yes — but it is the first thing to check rather than the last. Compact checkpoint machines pass through a standard double doorway and into a goods lift; larger hold-baggage and freight machines do not.
We have built checkpoints in London buildings where the only route in was a service lift, using short-belt X-rays chosen for exactly that reason. Send us a photo of the route in and we will tell you what fits before anything is booked. Our tunnel size guide draws every opening to scale.
